Frequently asked questions
How do I cite a source with no date?
Leave the year empty and the tool uses "n.d.", as APA requires.
How many authors does APA list?
APA 7 lists up to 20 authors. With 21 or more, it lists the first 19, an ellipsis, then the last author.
Should I include a DOI?
Yes. If a source has a DOI, APA prefers it to a URL.
